MY GOALS FOR HNGI8 AND WHAT I INTEND TO ACHIEVE BY THE END OF THE 8 WEEKS.
I am excited to catch-up with the HNGi8.
My stack is MERN and MEVN but am looking to add Go to the list. The internship program is a wonderful place to meet like minds and to connect in the tech community. It is a recommended place to kick start a career as a newbie. However my reason for picking interest in the internship is to learn the Goland language. I’m leveraging this opportunity to motivate and challenge myself to learn the language in few days and perfect my skills during the first week so that I can survive through the remainder of the 8weeks where interns will be required to use their chosen languages or stacks to build meaningful and creative solutions that will be of benefit to the society and the general public at large.
My goal is to NOT get kickedout of the program due to not being able to catchup with my newly picked-up language. The internship has started already. Today is Sunday which marks the first week of my learning.
I specialize in backend development using Nodejs, though I have experience with frontend and ux/ui track. My extended knowledge and experience stem from leading teams of various size and tracks. While leading teams, I often find myself helping with implementations on the various tracks so as to meet the dateline and at the same time Meetup with the requirements of the project.
If you decide to learn a new language or probably change career, you may want to consider registering to meet like minds and keep yourself motivated as you explore and tryout new things. https://lnkd.in/eiaY9bd6
